Jamun powder, also known as Indian Blackberry powder or Java plum powder, is derived from the fruit of the Syzygium cumini tree. It is popular in traditional medicine due to its various health benefits, including its potential to aid in digestion, regulate blood sugar levels, boost immunity, and improve skin health.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dates, pitted
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts), finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons jamun powder
  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor, blend the dates until they form a sticky paste.
  2. Transfer the date paste to a mixing bowl and add the chopped nuts and jamun powder.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  4. Take a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a bite-sized ball.
  5. Roll the energy bite in desiccated coconut to coat the exterior.
  6. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  7. Store the jamun energy bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a quick and healthy snack.
